The results of stage 2 of the Sovereign Wealth Fund Samruk Kazyna funded educational grant competition for Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools’ grade 10 learners aimed to provide grade 11-12 education in United World College of South East Asia, Singapore, (hereinafter – UWCSEA) for the academic years 2016-2017 and 2017-2018

Stage 1 of the competition took place at the premises of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools on 14 March 2016. The task was to write an essay on a topic suggested by United World College of South East Asia, Singapore, (UWCSEA) and a motivation letter “Why I should be accepted to UWCSEA”.

The project aims to provide external grade 11-12 education by means of the International Baccalaureate programme for 2016-2018, in accordance with the Rules for holding the educational grant competition for Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools’ grade 10 learners, and sanctioned  by the Board of Directors of Autonomous Educational Organization Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools dated 23 September 2015 (minutes #49). The project offers support to talented and gifted children and is funded by Samruk Kazyna JSC.

Results.

31 learners participated in the competition, 12 Intellectual Schools’ learners are accepted to stage 3.
