Tomorrow the visit of the Turkmen delegation, consisting of the Ministry of Education, Teacher Training Centers, universities and schools representatives, will end in Nur-Sultan.
At the suggestion of the Turkmen side, the following areas were investigated: developing the content of education, innovative approaches to improving the skills of school leaders and teachers, creative methods and learning technologies.
The first meeting was held in the central office with the Chairperson of the Board of AEO Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools, Svetlana Bagitovna Ispussinova. Turkmen teachers expressed interest in Kazakhstan's experience in creating innovative schools and the system of advanced training of AEO teachers.
The delegation also got acquainted with the work of the structural divisions of the Intellectual Schools. The management of the Centers for educational programs, of pedagogical measurements, of excellence presented experience in the field of conceptual approaches to the content of secondary education, the system of criteria-based assessment of students’ academic achievements, teacher training, innovative methods and active teaching methods.
During the official visit, the Turkmen colleagues visited the capital's Intellectual Schools. The Principals Meiram Zhakenov and Bauyrzhan Serikov, together with the students, conducted a tour for them and told about the features of the educational process in the NIS. Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Nur-Sultan organized a concert for guests to get acquainted with the culture and traditions of the Kazakh people. The Turkmen delegation also visited the International School, where the director Bauyrzhan Uzakbay acquainted with the training programs of the PYP elementary school and MYP basic school.
Also, according to the plan, meetings were held at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, at Nazarbayev University, two colleges, secondary school No. 73, and the Schoolchildren’s Palace in Nur-Sultan.
A big cultural program is waiting for tomorrow - Turkmen colleagues will visit the sights of the capital and, above all, the Expo “Nur Alem” - the first technological museum of the future energy.
