The UK intends to strengthen the educational base for Kazakhstani labor. This was reported by the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Kazakhstan Michael Gifford, the correspondent of the "Kazinform" reports.
“We want to strengthen the educational base for the Kazakh labor force in the coming years, and cooperation is being conducted in this direction,” said Michael Gifford.
The diplomat noted that the UK supports the reform of trilingualism in Kazakhstan.
“This is being done, including through partnership with the University of Cambridge, which works with Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools, and the British Council is very actively developing the potential of teachers,” he said.
The ambassador added that digitalization is an important area of cooperation between the two states.
“We are actively working in technical and vocational education throughout the country. Digitalization is also an important area of our cooperation,” concluded Michael Gifford.
