A graduate NIS of Physics and Mathematics in Semey Alpamys Maylybayev took part in the IV International Olympiad in Mathematics on the basis of the Military Engineering Institute of Radio Electronics and Communication among cadets of higher educational institutions of the CIS countries and took the second place.
Teams from seven CIS member states – Kazakhstan, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and the Russian Federation took part in the international olympiad. The main objective of the Olympiad is to pay much attention to the qualitative training of officers. It was held under the direct supervision of the Chairman of the Council of Defense Ministers of the CIS member states - the Defense Minister of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergey Shoygu and the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Colonel-General Saken Zhasuzakov.
Cadets took part in the competitions in three stages. The graduate of Nazarbayev intellectual school Physics and Mathematics in Semey, the second course cadet Alpamys Maylybayev took part in the team of the Military Engineering Institute of Radio Electronics and Communication. The head of the Institute, Colonel Askar Mustabekov, thanked the parents of Alpamys and the NIS team in Semey for excellent training of the future officer.
