Student Achievements Criteria-Based Assessment system - a completely new approach in the educational process - now available for teachers of pilot schools


From 26 to 28 March 2015 on the basis of Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Kokshetau the training workshop on Student Achievements Criteria-Based Assessment system held for primary school teachers of pilot schools.
Training on the new system of Assessment have been held for 110 teachers of primary school of 30 pilot schools.
Seminar organized by the Department of experience translation and education quality assessment of AEO "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools" in conjunction with the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Kokshetau.
The seminar was attended by 130 participants, including 110 primary school teachers from pilot schools from 16 regions of Kazakhstan, members of the National Academy of Education named after Y. Altynsarin of the Ministry of Education and Science of Republic of Kazakhstan, the Center for Education Measurement AEO "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools, teachers of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools Kokshetau and Taldykorgan cities.
During the workshop teachers of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Taldykorgan held 8 workshops on 4 subjects of primary school - literacy, mathematics, science, and knowledge of the world in the Kazakh and Russian languages.
Also Student Achievements Criteria-Based Assessment system in Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Taldykorgan was represented.
The participants were familiarized with the learning objectives, success criterias and recommendations for formative assessment in accordance with the curriculum in the subjects of primary school, studied how to use success criterias and tasks for formative assessment.
At the end of the workshop recommendations for the participants were prepared.
According the feedback, the participants noted the availability of the materials and the practical significance of master classes.
Training seminars for the teachers of pilot schools will continue.
